,
Doors, like racists, shut out the unwanted.
But is that the best thing to do?
When one locks all others out,
He locks himself in a prison too.
The best thing to do is to open the door
To all who comes and knocks.
Give each man a fair chance
Whether you know him or not.
You may be surprised to see
That your view gets clearer up-close.
For many people at second glance
Look far, far better than before.
That drug addict we turned around,
Or the thief we feared for our lives
Maybe the ones we really need
To help our country thrive.
Like Jesus you are the door
That opens up to your heart
To love all who comes within
Is Godly wisdom on your part.
